TIU's Japan Studies Program

Part 1

Tokyo International University are welcoming students from abroad who are interested in studying Japanese and as well as Japanese culture. This program is called Japan Studies Program (JSP).  Since its founding in 1965, TIU has emphasized international studies and exchange in order to produce internationally-minded students.  This JSP program is designed to meet a wide range of student needs.  This Japan Studies Program (JSP) offers student elective Japanese courses as well as various field trips and cultural activities. Every semester we have group of JSP students coming from other countries and everyone from TIU extends friendly help.  This can be your remarkable chance to get to know about the Japanese culture.

While studying at TIU in the Japan Study Program, students live with a Japanese host Family. Living with Japanese host family can be a great opportunity for those students to learn Japanese culture and provides opportunity to improve their language skills.
